The export of automotive auxiliary industry products worth 3.7 billion dollars

From Turkey, automotive auxiliary industry products worth $3,731,612,000 were exported during the January-March period


During the first quarter of 2024, exports to more than 190 countries, free zones, and autonomous regions were made in the automotive auxiliary industry.

The industrial export, which was $3,614,610,000 in the first three months of the previous year, increased by 3.24 percent in the same period of 2024, reaching $3,731,612,000.

This year, automotive industry's total foreign sales amounted to $9,132,431,000 in three months, of which auxiliary industry products constituted 40.9 percent.

Auxiliary industry exports to Germany amounted to $836.5 million.

When looking at the countries with the highest export volume in the auxiliary industry, Germany, the main market of the automotive sector, ranked first.

During the three-month period, auxiliary industry exports to Germany decreased by 5.8 percent compared to the same period last year. Auxiliary industry exports to Germany, which were $888,544,000 in the first quarter of last year, fell to $836,519,000 in the same period this year.

The increase in exports to the second largest market, France, was recorded as 7.82 percent. While $228,295,000 worth of auxiliary industry exports were made to France in the first quarter of 2023, $246,155,000 worth of products were sold in the same period this year.

Auxiliary industry exports to the third-ranked USA increased by 20.42 percent, rising from $202,744,000 to $244,150,000.

During this period, exports to Italy decreased by 5.5 percent to $224,752,000, while exports to Russia decreased by 2.5 percent to $214,148,000.

56 percent export increase to Romania

In the first quarter, auxiliary industry exports to the United Kingdom increased by 9.27 percent, rising from $170,289,000 to $186,075,000.

Auxiliary industry exports to Romania, the 7th most exported country, increased by 56.1 percent. Auxiliary industry exports to Romania, which were $117,217,000 in the first quarter of last year, reached $182,971,000 in the same period this year.

Poland ranked 8th with $166,087,000, Spain ranked 9th with $157,268,000, and Belgium ranked 10th with $89,268,000 in auxiliary industry exports.
