Bakan Kacır announced: We have reached the highest export figure in the history of the Republic

Minister of Industry and Technology Mehmet Fatih Kacır announced that the highest monthly and yearly adjusted export figure in the history of the Republic has been reached.

Kacır, evaluated the foreign trade data for May through a post on his social media account.

Reminding that the export for May was 24.1 billion dollars, Kacır noted:

"We have reached the highest monthly and yearly adjusted export figures in the 100-year history of the Republic. Our exports in the last 12 months amounted to 260.1 billion dollars. The Turkish industry is the biggest contributor to these records. Industrial products constitute approximately 95% of our exports. I congratulate our industrialists, exporters, workers, and everyone who contributed to this success."
